DECOMISSIONING FITZPATRICK MOUNTAIN WIND FARM

In 2023, we decommissioned the Fitzpatrick Mountain Wind Farm in Nova Scotia - our first facility to be retired. When the decision was made to decommission the site, we ensured all components were repurposed, recycled, or reused, such that as little as possible ended up in landfill. As a result of this effort, we were able to leave the site in substantially the condition in which we found it, including with the support and to the satisfaction of the landowner. Our goal is to lead by example, and retire our facilities safely, responsibly, and sustainably.
